Leather is a natural product from animal hides and therefore each bag is unique. Variations in the texture of the leather is not considered a fault. As every piece of leather is different and may accept colour dyes differently during the tanning process. Leather will always have natural marking such as dents, scars, scratching, wrinkles or blemishes. These natural markings are not considered a defect, but indications of genuine leather.
For long lasting use, protect your items from getting wet, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and heat. As a natural product, our leather goods are subject to wear and tear over time. Certain dyes may transfer to lighter colors. This irreversible effect is increased by humidity and temperature. We do not assume responsibility for dye transfer.
Leather is a natural material that becomes more individual with time. As your item is handled and used, the surface will gradually develop a patina. This is subtle changes in colour, tone and texture created through everyday use, natural oils and exposure to light.
This means your leather piece won't stay exactly as it looked on the day it arrived. It will soften, deepen in colour and develop its own character, making every piece completely unique to its owner.
The engraving will evolve too. Our designs are laser engraved directly into the leather rather than printed onto the surface. When your item is new, the engraving may appear more subtle and can catch the light differently depending on the angle. As the leather is handled and develops its patina, the appearance and contrast of the engraving can also change.
These natural variations aren't imperfections – they're part of the character of genuine leather and one of the reasons we love working with it. Your personalised piece is designed to become uniquely yours, telling its own story through every mark, change in tone and adventure along the way.
Please note: As leather is a natural material, variations in grain, colour, texture and engraving are to be expected. Product photographs are representative, but no two pieces will be completely identical.
We have done our best to ensure that our photographs are as close a match as possible, but colours may vary due to your own personal device settings. For specific colour matching and accurate representation, we recommend visiting us at one of our trade shows. We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for colour discrepancies for leather.
Processing times: 3-5 Business Days
At Signature Moments we try our best to ensure that all of your order will be sent out together to ensure we are doing our bit to help save the planet, however due to different processing times you may receive your order separately. If this is the case we will send you a message to the email provided letting you know the expected processing times for each item. The average processing time is on each product listing as well.
Orders for personalised products cannot be cancelled, due to the nature of the service.

- Free Standard Delivery on all orders to Great Britain over £20.00
- For Glassware Standard Delivery is sent via Royal Mail Tracked48, expect a 2-4 working day delivery time. However, it can take considerably longer in peak times and holiday periods.
- For Wood Decorations Standard Delivery is sent via Royal Mail Second Class Large Letter, expect 2-4 day delivery time. However, it can take considerably longer in peak times and holiday periods.
- For items under £15.00 there is a £2.50 delivery charge at check-out.
- At check out you do have the option to change to Royal Mail Tracked24 for an additional charge of £7.00. Royal Mail aim to deliver Tracked24 within 2 working days, however can take considerably longer in peak times and holiday periods.
- Please note to calculate your expected delivery date, add the processing time (found at the top of this page) and the delivery days together.
International Shipping

- Customs Charges ~ For international orders, it is the customers responsibility to pay any import duties and taxes which might be applied to the order at customs.

Personalised & Made-to-Order Items
As many of our products are personalised or made specifically for you, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges or cancellations for personalised or custom made items simply because you have changed your mind.
This includes products personalised with names, dates, messages, custom illustrations, photographs or other details supplied or selected by you.
This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Non-Personalised Items
If you wish to return an eligible non-personalised item, please contact us before sending your order back. Items must be returned in their original condition and, where applicable, with their original packaging.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you believe there is a fault with your order, your item has arrived damaged, or you have received an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photographs showing the issue.
In some circumstances, photographs may not be sufficient for us to properly assess the item. We may therefore ask you to return the product to us for inspection.
We cannot process a refund, replacement or exchange until the item has been returned to us and received, where we have requested its return for inspection.
Once received, we will inspect the item and contact you regarding the appropriate next steps.
Natural Materials
Please remember that many of our products are created from natural materials, including genuine leather and wood. Natural variations in colour, grain, texture and markings are part of the character of these materials and do not necessarily constitute a fault.
Laser engraving can also vary in appearance depending on the individual material, colour, grain and lighting. Please refer to the relevant product description for further information about the characteristics of your chosen material.
Returning Your Order
Please contact us before returning an item so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
Unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise covered by your statutory rights, customers are responsible for the cost of returning eligible items.
We strongly recommend obtaining proof of postage when returning an order, as we cannot be responsible for returned parcels until they have been received by us.
Nothing in this returns policy affects your statutory rights.
